Description

Replace roof drain transite piping at drain hopper connection and remove a short section of transite piping and replace with cast iron pipe connecting to a straight section of transite pipe again. A sufficient length of transite pipe to be retained to ensure a simple water tight connection can be achieved without demolishing wall or column finishes to access transite piping. Operations has encountered multiple leaks in piping elbows throughout the year. Project to replace all accessible transite piping. Connections to roof drain hoppers. Environmental consultant will be required for transite pipe removal.

Event Note

Respondents are advised that there will be an Optional site visit to be held on the date and times specified within the item 1.4.1 in RFQ. A maximum of three representatives of each Respondent, or its authorized representatives, are permitted to attend the Optional site visit. Attendees will meet the BGIS representative at the Building Address, 1050 Notre Dame Ave. Sudbury, ON P3A 5C2. Respondents are advised that they must preregister via email, and on behalf of their authorized representatives including sub-consultants, to the procurement specialist named in this RFQ by the deadline specified within item 1.4.1 to be authorized to access the site. Failure to register may result in the Respondents representative being refused access to the site. For mandatory site visits, Respondents are only required to attend one scheduled site visit to be eligible to bid.
