GOC887585 - Consultant - HVAC Renovations for Ceremonial Smudging in Correction Space

The objective of this project is to modify the existing building HVAC system as required in order to
adequately remove the smoke produced by Ceremonial Smudging that is to take place within room
124.4. All fire/life safety and mechanical systems should be reviewed to ensure the proposed solution
meet the requirements of the tenant and do not put the the building and other occupants at risk once
completed. System considerations should be so that it extracts the smoke quickly and efficiently in order
to minimize it's transmission to other areas and to building AHU's. The condition of room 124.4 should
also be investigated to identify any areas of improvment that can be taken to minimize smoke transfer
from within this room to other parts of the building. Control design of the system should be that it
minimizes the event of mechanical failure and human error. This could include, but be not limited to,
system status indicators, timers, air proving switches, etc. Proposed solutions must comply with all
applicable fire protection and building codes.
