Description

RFP for following Consulting Services;

Group relamping and reballasting for the Kelowna Federal Building. Ongoing replacement costs will be substantially reduced and lighting levels increased.

The recommendation is to group relamp again when 20% of lamps burn out from this project (from NRCan Enersave for Industry and Commerce). Lighting levels will be maintained at a higher level than at present and can allow for further energy savings from delamping. In addition the U.S. EPA estimates a 31% net reduction in costs from the group relamp / reballast approach.

Consultant to review options to maximize cost and energy savings, then implement chosen options.
