GOC326877,325534-SAM-RFP Re-Issue - Consulting Services - Building Exterior Cladding Inspection and Improvements

GOC326877 - Complete an intrusive BECI Level III Investigation. The work should include the removal of a sampling of each cladding system at multiple locations to allow review of the as built construction as well as the condition of the concealed elements. Further recommendations and suggested repair scope are included in the Intermediate BECI Safety Screening Report completed November 13, 2014. Completion date 30-Oct-15

GOC325534 - Perform improvements to building exterior cladding to repair or replace broken granite panels, re-seal exterior granite panels and re-mortar and reseal brickwork as identified in BECI Intermediate Safety Screening Report. Note this scope of work is based on preliminary findings from the BECI Exterior Safety Screening Report and scope and estimated cost will be further defined by completion of the Level III BECI Intrusive investigation that must be completed prior to undertaking this project. This will be a Multi Year project with Plans & Specifications completed Year 1 and Construction Year 2. Completion date 5-Dec-15

Note: Projects are dependent on each other; GOC326877 must be completed first to allow enough scope details for designing GOC325534 accordingly. Projects are tendered as a group and bidders are to quote them separately, however they will be awarded to one successful bidder as a group.
