Description

Work of this project consists of the removal and replacement of the roof systems over the Lab Building, Admin Building, and Dechlorinated Water Building located at the Freshwater Institute, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
The work is being completed in two phase, Phase 1 in 2018 and Phase 2 in 2019.
Work to be completed in Phase 1 is as follows:
1. Roof Areas: 1, 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24 of the drawings.
2. Additional roof areas at the discretion of the contractor and weather conditions.
3. Replacement of additional roof areas to be coordinated with BGIS.
Work to be completed in Phase 2 is as follows:
1. Roof Areas 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 25, 26, and 27 of the drawings.
2. The mechanical systems within roof areas 18 and 19 are being upgraded as part of another project. Contractor to coordinate access and installation of the new roof system with the mechanical contractor.
