GOC 359155 - Window Washing NDHQ

1. To supply all necessary labor, equipment, supplies, materials and other accessories for the cleaning of interior and exterior glass surfaces at NDHQ, 101 Colonel By Drive, Ottawa, Ontario, K1A 0K2
 
2. Services:
 
The services to be performed shall include, but not be limited to, cleaning of all interior and exterior windows and frames of the center block by method of seaboard or swing stage. The cleaning of all interior and exterior windows and frames of both towers by method of a mechanical lift as high as the lift will allow. All glass doors and frames.
 
3. Cleaning of Interior and Exterior Glass Surfaces:
 
A. Clean all surfaces using a cleaning brush and squeegee to obtain a uniformly bright surface free of drips, streaks and foreign material.
 
B. All moisture, on the sills and frames, shall be removed with a clean cloth.
 
C. All gum, paint and adhered soil that are not water-soluble must be removed by use of an appropriate cleaning agent.
 
D. Any adhered "hydrophobic" type solid that cannot be scraped off should be removed with the use of an appropriate cleaning agent.
 
E. Cleaning shall include the metal and aluminum frames, both interior and exterior.
 
F. At the end of the workday, the Contractor shall remove all equipment, material and supplies from the work areas. To be stored in one designated area.
 
G. The work shall be completed in a workmanship manner consistent with Industry
Standards.
