GOC338297 - Cs - EMB Boardroom and Service Centre Refit

To undertake the necessary design and engineering review of the proposed layout from Department of Justice and develop a code compliant tender ready package. The service centres are no longer in use and have been abandoned. The general intent is to demolish these rooms back to the walls and refinish the spaces so that they may be re-purposed.  The future function of rooms 6135 and 6138 is not defined, these rooms will essentially remain empty upon completion of the construction. The old file room 6363 also has no defined future function  and will remain empty upon completion of the construction.  The former service centre room 6355 will be refit as a small boardroom and will be designed using Workplace 2.0 standards.  The consultant will need to confirm the ability of the existing mechanical infrastructure in room 6355 to either support the ventilation requirements of a 10 person boardroom or be capable of undergoing modification to satisfy the required ventilation rates. The former boardroom (room 6366) will now become a service centre housing only 2 printers.  Submission of design drawings to PWGSC Centre of Expertise for review and acceptance is a mandatory requirement.   Please refer to the sketches provided by Department of Justice for schematic representation of the work scope. Included are sketches:  A1 - Floor Plan, A2 - Demolition Plan and A3 - Construction Plan all are dated 05/06/2015 under DoJ project 502332.
