GOC349967 CS - Retrofit PB Space

To undertake the necessary design and engineering review of the proposed layout from Department of Justice and develop a code compliant tender ready package. Project is to be tendered and completed this fiscal year. SCOPE: Refer to included sketch (EMB-AA Preliminary space planning issued October 2015) for the client's written scope and schematic representation of the work.  A portion of the space is deemed top secret and will be constructed to specific guidelines, please refer to the attached RCMP Physical Security Guides G13-01 and G13-02.  A high degree of coordination with the client will be required during the design and construction phases to ensure that required reviews and inspections are carried out in a timely fashion.  The scheduling of deliverables will be very aggressive on this project as the Department of Justice requires completion of the work no later than 25 March 2016. Bidders must be prepared to commit the level of resource allocation/dedication necessary to meet the deliverables.  Design reviews are to be carried out in conjunction with the client and at the offices of the client.  The construction of this space is based upon the requirements of the Department of Justice 2008 National Threat and Risk Assessment.
