The consultant will engage and carry all costs required to complete the design, tender, construction management and closeout phases of the project.
 
Industry Canada is closing the 4th floor mailroom on Dec 31, 2015.  This closure will affect many current and possible future tenants that are unable to set up their own mail management systems. 
In discussions with the Canada Post (CPC) representative, it was suggested that the best solution would be to set up a building community mailbox.  A suitable space for this was identified in the Maintenance's shower and washroom on the L1 level with the shower and washroom being relocated to the maintenance workshop space across the hall on the L1 level. CPC provided mail room specifications and security requirements. The room is designed to have one entrance only and the door lock will be provided by CPC. Any critical equipment which runs through the existing shower and washroom space will need to be relocated around the room, as the new mailroom will only be accessible by CPC and the building technicians need to have access to all equipment in case of emergency.
