GOC337785 - CS - Above Ground Pressure Piping Inspection and Testing Program

This project consists in the development and implementation of above ground pressure piping systems inspection and testing program. The inspection and testing program for above ground pressure piping systems must include the following key elements: ‐ A pressure piping inventory and systems schematics which includes an accurate database with detailed information about pressure piping that exists in each building. ‐ A standard protocol for carrying out these testing and for documenting the results in a consistent manner throughout the portfolio. ‐ Inspection and testing procedures which include visual inspections, non‐destructive testing and others testing. ‐ Inspection and testing priorities.
Programs for regular inspection and testing of pressure piping systems shall be developed to ensure a high degree of safety for the occupants of the facilities throughout the life of the piping systems. Furthermore, the COSHR requires that the employer have inspection and testing programs for pressure piping systems to ensure that they are safe for their intended use. Finally, the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code dictates that any pressure vessels including pressure piping must be inspected and tested on a regular basis
