GOC370715-Cs - Investigate and Install Water Dams Around Electrical Risers

Consultant􀀃 to􀀃 recommend􀀃 options􀀃 for􀀃 the􀀃 􀀃 installation􀀃 of􀀃 water􀀃 dams􀀃 around􀀃 electrical􀀃 risers􀀃 going􀀃 through 􀀃the 􀀃electrical􀀃 room􀀃 floors 􀀃at􀀃 CD􀀃Howe. 􀀃All 􀀃facility 􀀃(Tower)􀀃 Electrical 􀀃rooms 􀀃are􀀃 included􀀃 in􀀃 this project.􀀃 There􀀃 are􀀃 4􀀃 per􀀃 floor,􀀃 11􀀃 floors􀀃 for􀀃 a􀀃 total􀀃 of􀀃 44􀀃 rooms.􀀃Some􀀃 electrical 􀀃rooms􀀃 have􀀃 existing􀀃 curbs􀀃 that 􀀃need 􀀃to 􀀃be 􀀃verified􀀃 as 􀀃part 􀀃of 􀀃the 􀀃Consultants􀀃 review.􀀃This 􀀃project's 􀀃deliverables 􀀃are 􀀃Tender􀀃 Ready 􀀃documents􀀃 for􀀃 implementation􀀃 in 􀀃2016/2017.􀀃 Some􀀃 electrical􀀃 rooms 􀀃house􀀃 chilled water 􀀃piping as􀀃 well 􀀃as􀀃 sprinkler 􀀃installations. 􀀃Investigation 􀀃should􀀃 also 􀀃consider􀀃 other􀀃 sources 􀀃of 􀀃water􀀃 infiltraction 􀀃i.e.􀀃 tenant􀀃 of􀀃 facility 􀀃infrastucture 􀀃outside􀀃 of 􀀃the 􀀃electrical 􀀃rooms􀀃 that 􀀃may 􀀃introduce 􀀃water􀀃 to 􀀃the these 􀀃electrical􀀃 rooms.􀀃
